Antoinette @ Mandarin Gallery

Hi Peeps,

Wet day Singapore.. been raining like almost every single days, do remember to carry umbrella with you people.
anyway i just got home from a weekend date with le gf.
we went to try on some food and dessert at 1 of the French patisserie Antoinette.

The restaurant was pretty, somehow too princessy to me, FML.
can't help, i personally prefer a place that has a simple, classic interior design especially when it comes to French pastry.
nonetheless, it's comfortable tho.
you got the 'luxurious' feel still

As i have had some food before heading out, so i decided that i'm just gonna have some tea and dessert instead.
after brows thru the menu, i ordered Caramel Crème Tea and took a peak on the dessert in the front counter.
T.T utterly regretted for not snapping those beauties coz i was overly excited to pick em' up.

Caramel Crème Tea $9.90

Everything is so pretty and picture worthy, you guys can check the full list of the cakies HERE.
i would say, those shows in the pictures are pretty much resembled the exact product.
so after dearly 'examine' the choices offered, i got myself the signature Antoinette and the twinnie macaroons

Dark Cocolate & Salted Caramel $2.50/ ea

Antoinette $10.90

THIS IS REAL GOOD!!! no kidding! i'm not saying this just because it has a flavorful touch of Earl Grey (my all time fave tea) on it, but it really is de goddest.
i eat it tiny bit by bit coz i do not want it to be gone soon *if only cake would last forever.

the decent cake was covered with silken chocolate outer coat and has a mousse like chocolate texture in the inside, with a wafferly crumb on the buttom which taste like Ferrero Rocher to some exstend.
the top was a molecular gastronomy (never knew dessert would use such a scientifically language, LOL) that filled with raspberry burst, very lovely indeed.

Not sure how is the brunch menu le gf got, Mitty.. have a word please...
Hahahha XD

well... on the contrary, I SUPER LOVE this princessy place. Comfy couch, dim lighting and the peaceful and relaxed environment.

Nothing special with my foods but for me, the place make it worth the price. One minus point tho, the staff didnt put the serviette on our lap, make it less princessy kind of feeling. Hello! what is this 10% service tax for? (there goes my complaining skill)

Overall, Antoinette did brighten up my morning!

p.s: I had scrambled egg with Scottish smoked salmon and Fleurs confiture d'oranges (orange flavored tea).

Sincerely yours,
her royal highness Mithya Dharma, the first

NamNam Noodle Bar @ Suntec (Dinner)

Hi Peeps, Today i'm gonna share with you guys on my dining experience at one of the most famous Vietnamese cuisine, The NamNam Noodle Bar . Just to be honest, i was a Vietnam food virgin until the day i decided to give it a go (late bloomer alert!! *LOL). my biggest temptation was to try their famous street food Phở . Set a dinner date with my besties, so we went to The NamNam Noodle Bar branch at Suntec after work, wish to take more picture but the queue was crazy *as it always been, never once i've seen it with nobody in line. keep reading on, you'll know why ; ) Upon awaiting to be seated, i browse thru their menu to pick up what i'd like to have to fulfill my growling tummy Seated Utterly delighted to found that there are 'Phở Chicken' available on the menu, which doesn't took me second thought to put on my order list. in case some of you wondering why didn't i go for the original Phở (which comes with beef brisket slices), Umm.
