Lobster marathon at Pince & Pints!!

Hi Peeps,

How you all doin' bud? great? I hope you do :)
In today post, I'm gonna share my little food adventure from my recent feast.
so last friday night, le girlfriends and i are heading out for our dinner date at Pince & Pints which we've been planning to went on since last month -.-" oh yeah, you heard me.. last month. that's how hard it is to fix a date with each and every one of us tight schedule, but thank god our long await date finally happened LOL

I've read couples of review before heading down, it says that P&P does not take reservation.
just to be assure that we would have our seat secured, 1 of my troop went down 5 pm sharp to take our queue number. andddd... was told, we would probably need to wait till approximately 9 pm to be seated (4 hours wait by the way) again it subjected to the seat availability.

Kinda expected about the wait, but 4 hours is never really what i had in mind. and after certain consideration, we decided to go for it still. after all, we're still waiting for others to arrive. popped in some Café along the street to find some light bites, wishing to get something that could last me for the next 4 hours

French Toast SGD $12 (handpicked red berries, maple syrup, and organic vanilla ice cream)
Calamari Fries SGD $16

When light bites turns into heavy bites, LOL. i really love the french toast tho, it's like the hybrid version between waffle and pancake. slightly toasted crunch in the outer side, and cushiony fluffy within. i recommend you to try people, and the smells of creamy butter made it even better!! #buttersuckerspeaking hahahah

Little did i know the girls was throwing a mini celebration for me, why? becauseeeee, I'M ENGAGED! just 2 weeks ago :D

A slice of happiness and a huge ass handmade with love featuring eco-friendly paper chain with raffia string, really guys? i'm doomed, hahahaha
you can call it statement necklace or whatever, you name it.
best way to indicate i'm off the market 'SOLD' LMFAO, it was epic anyway XD

They literally made me wore that precious handmade thing all night long, wasn't allowed to took it out at all. but i guess i picked the right outfit that night, it goes pretty well. not that obviously eye catching, although i still got caught by strangers staring at me FML and that starberry expression :-D Hahahaahahaha

Well, back to our dinner. our initial plan was only a table for 4, but we had additional guess joining in the very last minutes, so we informed P&P to add another seat. getting a table in P&P is truely a huge hassle in my most honest opinion, first come first serve is not really a big deal, but the waiting time tho *facepalm
adding another guess equals to adding another 1 hour wait. guess what time we end up seated? when the clock almost strike 10, yes. we are queueing since the store open (5 PM) till 1 hour before it closed (11 PM), ridiculous isn't it? nearly 5 hours wait

10 because we agreed to be seated separately,  not a full complete table. P&P is relative small in size, where there wasn't much seat offered. there was even some folks i saw dine standing without any seat at all, so if you wanna get your lobster fix and minimize your waiting time. do not mind to be seated apart from your group mates or partner. perhaps, come back some other time or at least after the hype tame down a little bit? or else you gotta prepare your soul for the massive wait guys. not kidding

P&P only specialize in Lobster for their food menu, you can view em HERE

Chilli Lobster SGD $48++
(fried mantou, homemade fresh tomato & chilli sauce)

Probably the one and only restaurant in Singapore serving Lobster with it signature dish which usually in the form of Chilli Crab i guess? I'm loving the combination tho. it comes with 5 pcs of deep fried Mantou (chinese steam bun), whole lobster and generous amount of chilli gravy. if you're in the mood of something savoury, this is the best menu to go for. get your hands down dirty, and dig in all the goodness.

Live Whole Lobster (Grilled) SGD $48++
(mesclun salad, sour cherry & balsamic dressing, shoestring fries, herbed butter sauce)

The Lobster Roll SGD $48++
(mesclun salad, sour cherry & balsamic dressing and shoestring fries)

Sorry for the poor quality pictures guys, it was all taken with mobile phone.
I struggling to decide which lobster brothers i should go for, and my inner carnivore whisper "Just get both!!!" so i decided to share with Kristin le gf, we had both Lobster Roll and Grilled Lobster together. i mean come on... what's better than having to try everything as a 'reward' of our hardship queueing and time wasted, right? might as well tried bits of everything

Basically all the food we had are lovely, the chilli lobster was great.
grilled lobster was grilled to prefection, the crusher claw was huge. comparable to the size of mud crab claw, and the meat was real fresh, sweet, and juicy. nothing rubbery like overcook meat
 if i gotta to pick my top favourite of all, it's gonna be none other than the lobster roll. chuncky lobster meat stuffed in fluffy bun, i love et!!! accompanied by a glass of Viognier sweet white wine, oh boy... my night is complete.

Good Food + Good Friend + Good Time
what else could i ask for more? Thank You guys for making my night simply simple, yet special. it's not what i received that count, but your effort and present.  i truly appreciated and treasured
