On The Table café @ Pasir Panjang Road

Hi Peeps,

I know... i owe you lotsa update LOL, been missing for the past 2 weeks since i last posted my blog entry. some of you may probably noticed that i have not been doing Nail pictorial for ages, sad to say.. but to my most honest, i kinda find myself slowly losing interest on doing that LOL.
i mean i still love nail polishes, but gradually less courage to put it into pictorials.
maybe once in a blue moon, i still will FML

Alright, today imma update you guys with newly launched café, just stone's throw away from my workplace. it's call On The Table, been in business for more than a month now, i guess?
*if my memory serve me right, hahahaha XD.
been there twice to date, and i gotta say my very first impression about this café wasn't that great like
'Mehn.. this place is holy quite and it's so dark in the inside, will anyone ever 'think' of going in coz it doesn't look promising?'

Not a very attractively appealing from the outside, but when i made my first entrance.. the entire bad perception changed forever! perhaps that's what people always say 'Don't Judge the Book by Its Cover'
attentive staff, calm & relaxing ambience + relatively quick in terms of food serving.
are you curious enough to take a look at what we had?

Organic Chai Latte $5

I'm a sucker for Chai Latte ever since my first sip back in Melbourne last year, constantly hunting for a good 1 every time it appears on any menu. and this 1 was great, brings back some sweet memories with the mild and flavourful blend.

Fries with Truffle Mayo $8
(fries with truffle infused parmesan mayo)

Just as usual typical bunch of fries, the dipping was quite nice tho

Eggs Atlantic $16
(brioche toast, smoke salmon, rocket leaves, dill hollandaise and served with salad)

Calling all the big egg fans out there, you guys will definitely love this!! just as much as i did. Hatch made it to my favourite list, but this is just a good as 1.
I'm particularly talking about the hollandaise sauce.. boy it's creamily yummy!!

Bangers & Mash $9
(snail sausage, bratwurst sausage, creamy mash)

(Hey youuuu.. with your dirty mind) focussss!! this is delish!!! Oh droll.. loving the mash to the moon and back, literally melt in your mouth kinda thing

Mushroom Monsieur $12
(brioche, mozzarella cheese, béchamel sauce mushroom, onions and served with salad)

The next thing i heard after le colleague had her first bite was "zhen de hen bu cuo (repeat 100x)" and i actually enjoy seeing her pulling the melted cheese, gotta try this i swear.

Salmon and Mushroom truffle linguine $16
(smoke salmon, swiss mushroom, truffle infused cream, parmesan cheese, linguine)

The smoke salmon was hell salty, but if you eat mix everything together without eating em' seperately it taste just fine. serving portion was pretty small too.

Confit of Duck Leg $18
(duck leg, silky mash, orange gastrique sauce)

The lady who had this was an 'extreme' food critics of mine, far as i can remember.. she had never once praised or mentioned about good food she ever eaten around our workplace area. but this ducky please her to the moon and back! nuff said

Waffles & Ice Cream $8
(Single scoop)

Waffles & Ice Cream $10
(Double scoop)

"I don't trust people who don't eat waffles" ← that's how hardcore i am when it comes to waffle love, OTT serve decent waffles and not to forget their own housemade ice cream make it Perfect Two.
(i'm just kidding about the waffle eating thing, hhahhaha...)
if you guys happen to drop by, i recommend you to try their 'Baileys with brownies & Banana'  ice cream. totally to love. Baileys flavour was rich and the banana ice cream comes with real banana bites, definitely addicting! I'm a regular patron now, and will be back again this coming sunday for some birthday brunch with le besties. what i like most aside from all the great good food is that :

(X) No GST
(X) No Service Charge

this is important for a regular 'eat-out' dinner, as it make a huge impact on your wally (read : wallet). why pay 17% if you can save them for your next meal, right? :D
