Sugarfree Waffle

Can i be anymore random than this? YES!! Totally!!!! LOL
so, yesterday out of nowhere.. i had this urge of making some 'healthy' food, not that i'm anywhere close to 'on diet' thang. perhaps, just an excuse to try my brand new iron waffle that i bought few months ago. and to make it a little less sinful compares to the normal heavy breakie i had every weekend from cafe hopping, i op for a totally healthy one this time. it's something completely fuss-free and super easy to make

Now let's dig on the ingredients :
1 Whole egg
1 Piece of ripped Banana
1 Cup of Almond Milk
4 Tablespoon of Oatmeal Flour

(ingredients composition are subject to personal taste & texture preference, it may be more or less depends on your liking)

Directions :
- place a peeled banana in a small bowl, and by using a fork repeatedly mash banana until it turns runny
- crack an egg and blend well
- add all the dry ingredient (oatmeal flour) into the mixture
- lastly, add on a cup of almond milk and mix everything together
- pour the batter into a greased & pre-heated waffle iron, leave it for approximately 3 - 5 minutes to cook
- once cook, place it in a plate and top it off with a tablespoon of greek yogurt. fresh fruits, maple, honey, chocolate syrup or basically just anything you like.

Iron type : Regular scandinavian waffle iron/heart-shape iron
Serves : 3 waffles

(Serving amount is subject to waffle iron size)

Yummeh... oh by the way, this waffle has a nice fluffy texture. not those typical crispy outer texture like the usual belgian waffle we had, think about pancake and it should be the closest resemblance to this recipe.  but again, all the ingredients amount and adjustment are totally optional.  if you want a crunchy texture but still in a clean track, ditch off the egg yolk and reduce the amount of water in the batter (in this case, i'm referring to the almond milk). also machine blend the banana to turn it into non-lump/ liquid form so that you wouldn't have the fluffiness. you should have crunchy outer and gooey inner like what Iris Rose has made

Happy Trying peeps, i'll see you on my next post
