I'm back with some random blog updates. So, last Saturday i went to Batam island.
as i was invited to be 1 of the judge for the singing competition held by my company in conjunction of our annual event.
buttt.. i'm not gonna disclose anything 'company' related here (probably you'll never catch me doing it in the future either), because i believe in professionalism to draw a very clear line between work and personal life.
i was given the privilege to have a complementary stay at Batam View Beach Resort.
now, lemme ask you this question. do you guys ever wonder if there is any nice place in Batam where you can chill at?
i mean let's be honest, i never thought there's any despite of the fact that i've been traveling to this island back and forth every single month.
or maybe it's me, never really get to explore the town, LOL.

Everything is just like any other hotel, room wise.. Harmoni One Batam Center is way much better. semi modern type feature 'wood like' tiles.
i have this habit of lazying in my room whenever i stay at hotels in Batam, i can safely say 90% of the time i called room service, even there is any restaurant next door, nearby, or whatever. don't ask me why? it just been that way.. like forever, FML
I had Gado2 & Mix fruits platter price at Rp 67.xxx *couldn't recall the exact price, but approximately less than SGD $8/each
in case some of you have no idea what this is, it's basically combination of assorted veggies, deep fried tofu, tempe, boild egg, and longtong (rice cake) serve with peanut sauce & emping crackers *gnetum gnemon nut cracker.
i love the presentation of the entire food, traditional delicacies with western twist. so puurrrrffakw
filled up my tank, deep in 'bubbleful' tub, bed and next morning when i woke up, i was great by this beautiful view

i was amazed for a few second, like wow.. can't believe i'm in batam, i saw a lot of pretty photo of blogger who visited Montigo Resort in batam, and guess what. Montigo is just right beside Batam View (spotted those white buildings on last photo of above left side? that's Montigo)

I stood there for almost 1 hour, watching the view gets clearer as the sun risen. purely relaxing, i was like telling myself "wouldn't mind getting up early all day, everyday to this gorgeousness"
couldn't wait to explore more, so i just went to take a quick bath, grab some breakfast and get going

There is play ground for the kids and some random animals like hens, turkey, guinea pigs, iguana, peacock, hedgehog and white parrot
i have a lil story with this lil white buddy, when i was snapping he greeted me with a sweet "Hallo", and i was like aww.. the next few second, he aggressively pecking the case (-.-" ) just in time to back off, or else he could have crack my lens glass.
dear mummy if you bring your kids around, remind them not to stay too close from the cage.
thru the entire part, this is gotta be my favourite!!! Da Beach and villas
Nothing really change my mind until i see the view from my room and the beach, and now i know.. there is a place for chillaxing in batam *at least i've found i #foreverabeachgirlintheheart
