Hi Peeps,
Back to the typical Friday post, i believe most of us are completely hyped up on the coming Christmas which just around the corner :D
so, to celebrate this coming season.. i'm gonna dedicate a special X'mas nail do edition for today and the following week entry right before the joyful Christmas day arrives.
Here's what i used:
(Left - Right)
* Gold, snow flakes & snowy glitter polishes from Innisfree
* Tube of Star flakes from Daiso
* Konad special Nail polish in 'Red'
* OPI 'Alpine Snow'
* Nail Art polish in 'Green'
* Konda stamping Kit and Scraper
* Image plate from Bundle Monster US number 'BM 214'
* Nicole by OPI (Hard-Kourt Fashionista)
* Base coat and Top coat (not shown)
(Step 1)
Apply base coat
(Step 2)
Paint all the finger nails by using the Alpine Snow
(Step 3)
Using the Nail art polish, draw an outline of triangle or i would call this the 'Pizza' shape LOL on the middle finger nail.
this is to help create a neater guide line for the tree *optional step
(Step 4)
Fill in the Spruce/Pine tree post-outlining with the rest of the nail art polish and draw the trunk by using Hard-Kourt Fashionista or any chocolate color
(Step 5)
load a nail art stick with a lil bit of top coat so that it makes it easier to pick up the star, and place it on top of the tree
(Step 6)
By using the bundle monster image plate and konad stamping nail art & polish, stamp the reindeer on the ring fingers and pattern print for the rest of the finger
in case you guys isn't familiar with stamping nail art, you can find out more at Konad website HERE.
live demo and products are available there, but here i'm using bundle monster image place instead.
basically they are the same, except the pattern cut of bundle monster are slightly bigger in my opinion.
a lil information on the Konad special polish, obviously from the word 'special' you should already know that it's only use for stamping art.
strongly inadvisable to be applied directly onto the nails due to the contain which are a lot more solid compare to the regular nail polishes.
I got some question asking whether or not we can use the regular polish on the image plate? according to my experiment, Yes you can.
but it's all depends on the solid/thickness of the regular polish itself.
Not all regular polishes works, and the printed pattern color result may not be as vibrant as Konad special nail polish does.
so, word of advise.. stick to it's momma for the best result
(Step 7)
Brush on some glitters for a lil extra touch, seal the entire look with generous amount of top coat.
and you're good to go
Till Then,
Have a Great Day
Much Love ♥
