Medan (Travelogue) *Day Two

Hi Peeps,

I'm back with day 2 updates, nothing much really. just a couples of food spamming photos, which i could have had taken more. but... wasn't feeling so, that's 1 thing about me when it comes to gathering or having a mini reunion with ma besties.

as i've mentioned countless, whenever i'm in a group of friends. i tent to spend more time catching up with each other rather than busy snapping pictures, reason? is simple, we don't get to see each other often, so why not treasure the moment than 'autistically' busy taking pictures, right?
ultimately, i still took some LOL. hahahhaha.. just a little, not much.

Got up around 9 and headed out to have some Dim Sum breakfast treat by the bride, Hello Meriiiii.. if you're reading this, BIG FAT THANK YOU for the massive hospitality :)
0 photo taken, but if you guys plan to have some Dim Sum fest in Medan, give below restaurant a go

They serve pretty decent dim sum, my girlfriend was like tucked in 3 or 4 portion of the chicken feet! while i'm struggling from the insane hang over.
but i do recommend you people to try if you happen to visit Medan

So after the dim sum fest, we returned to our hotel to pack all our belonging and prepared for check-out
the girls while waiting at the lobby

and Nasi Padang for lunch!! going back to Indonesia (despite of whichever city) is just felt incomplete without having an incredibly satisfying Padang cuisine. we had our at

The fish head curry gotta be the star of the all dishes served. it's da BOOM!!! the meat was nicely cook, the combination of all the ingredient is just marvelous!! wouldn't mind going back to Medan just for this, hahahah... *Overrated detected LOL

Happy meal, happy me.. hahahahha...

Satisfied with our lunch, next.. heading down on the gift check list.

It basically a Swiss roll with various type of filling in the inside, flavors available on their official website, make sure to check it out people.
the highly/most hyped filling is the shredded cheese *FYI

In a quick glance, this cakes look like honeycomb. with a lots of holes within made by the yeast that mixed with coconut milk, tapioca flour, sugar, etc.
taste like crumpet, mildly chewy to some extend. but it nice tho..
not my first time eating it, but certainly my 1st try from above brand. i like the not so oily texture *some can be really wet and oily. and this come with a little bit of lemon grass fragrance, i bet the older generation will love it.

Gift checklist done, nothing much after. just chillin' in town cafe, chit chating till dinner time and off to the airport.
to sum it up, it was a very pleasant short visit.
surely, good times :)

That is all for today update people

Till Then,
Have a Great Day

Much Love ♥
