Benefit Cosmetics (Little Love Portions)

Hello Peeps,

Good day to all of you, today i'm gonna do a mini review on Benefit Cosmetics limited edition holiday set Little Love Portions.
I have been eyeing on this set ever since it arrived at Sephora shelf couple of weeks ago to celebrate this coming holiday season. (btw, i'm not paid nor sponsored by Sephora & Benefit Cosmetics Singapore to promote their brand obviously. I'm devoted Sephora junkies and BeneFans (read : Benefit product fans) so yeah, that pretty much sum it up, LOL)

Anyway, if you are a close friend of mine. you should have known me by now that i always have a soft spot on anything which is 'travel friendly' (read : delux/mini size), free gift/complementary service or whatever... totally hit me on the spot (hellooo.. who doesn't, right?)
Reason? is simple, because i hate anything hassle. can you imagine having to travel with all your daily essentials in regular/full size. Ugh.. that is just so not me.

I always ensure to have my needs in smaller sizes, be it cosmetic products, skin care, toiletries, you name it..
So how can i possibly miss this pretty set by Benefit Cosmetics where the size of each products are like three fourth or barely my index finger.

Little Love Portions, Retail for $58.

Consist of (Left - Right) :

1. HOOLA ultra plush (6.5ml), shimmering golden nude lip gloss
2. BADgal mini deluxe sample (4.0g)
3. HOOLA bronzing powder (3.0g)
4. that gal (7.5ml), brightening face primer
5. it's potent! eye cream deluxe sample (3.0g), brightening eye cream to fade dark circles
6. the POREfessional deluxe sample (7.5ml), PRO balm to minimize the appearance of pores
7. high beam (2.5ml), luminescent complexion enhancer
8. posietint deluxe sample (2.5ml), poppy-pink tinted lip & cheek stain
9. stay don't stray in shade light/medium (2.5ml), stay-put primer for concealers & eyeshadows
10. Watt's Up! deluxe sample (2.5ml), soft focus highlighter for face deluxe mini

Swatches :

HOOLA ultra plush

It's basically a semi-shimmer golden nude lip gloss, as you guys can see why i said it was 'semi' because the shimmer intensity was rather soft compare to those typical ultra shine glossy lip glosses which i like.
(as much as i have been emphasizing how i love 'simplicity', so anything which isn't to attention seeking/mega noticeable i'll definitely go for it)

BADgal mini deluxe sample Mascara

Please excuse the swatches shape LOL, it ain't that horrible tho (blurry cause by the oiliness after the gloss swatch).
my other preferences when it comes to pick up some beauty product is that, i enjoy anything which are NOT water prove (simply because i hate the ritual of removing em' especially mascara) so this badgal totally win me on the wash-off.

HOOLA bronzing powder

i'm a huge fans of bronzing/sculpting powder, this beautiful mini cube definitely handy when i'm on the go.
it can be use for face and nose contour, or just a couple touch of finishing for a little 'artificial' sun kiss? you can never go wrong

that gal

Benefit brightening face primer comes in non-greasy and easy absorbent formula which is perfect as a base before applying makeups

it's potent!

The brightening eye cream and to fade dark circles. however, i prefer Fakeup which i'm currently using compare to this. due to the consistency, i just don't feel it works as what it claims. nonetheless, it hydrating still.

the POREfessional deluxe sample

Now this kind of works on me to be honest, it does smoothen and minimize my huge ass pores around the apple of my cheek. So good...

high beam
posietint deluxe sample
stay don't stray in shade light/medium

high beam, the luminescent complexion enhancer literally use to bring out the glow of your skin complexion. i tried to apply this few days back, and it was awesome!!! my absolute favorite out of all.
1 thing about tinted cheeks & lips stain which i fancy is that the longer lasting wear, the vibrant color just settled perfectly for hours.
next is on the stay don't stray concealer, the applicator kinda reminds me of Primer Portion by Urban Decay. quality wise is comparable except the consistency of stay don't stray concealer is smoother and easier to blend in my opinion.

Watt's Up! deluxe sample

Lastly, the Watt's Up! it's a soft focus highlighter for face which is also good to be apply around the upper cheek bones, to highlight the nose bridge or a bit on your upper lips cupid bow.

My overall review, this set is worth buying because it conclude Benefits' best selling products in deluxe sizes.
it's good, especially if you are eager to try on Benefit products. but wasn't really sure if it's gonna works on you skin and buying a regular size product is definitely the least option in you mind in case it doesn't turn out that well.. it'll be a complete waste of money, we don't wanna risk that, aren't we?

i'm done with my holiday set review, now a little extra info. if you guys are a Sephora white card holder, there is this sweet complementary treat by Fresh (Sugar)

Sugar Rose Delux Mini

Randomly brows thru Sephora FB page, and i got another sweet treat. sometimes, you could have the best of both ; ) just gotta find your way and stay on the look out!

I took the chance on my last visit to redeem my complementary Sephora Mirror for participating on their online survey weeks ago

So ya, that is all for today
Have fun beautifying

Till Then,
Have a Great Day

Much Love ♥

Bit of pink and white combination to give this nail do a typical soften romantic look just in time for the love day to come. Alright, i'm just gonna keep this post as short and quick as possible. coz i gotta rush to do something else so lets get started. Step 1 (apply base coat to all finger nails) Step 2 (Paint your pinky, middle, index/pointer and thumb with soft pink. plus white polish for the ring finger) Note : here i'm just paint all the finger nails with a single coat to shorten the drying time, coz we gonna overlay with some embossed detail. alternatively, you can do a multiple coat to build the intensity as desired. Step 3 (By using dotting tool/toothpick, start creating the outline and draw a lit...
