Fatcat Ice Cream Bar Review

Singapore concept cafe trend seems to be endlessly exciting for a foodie like me, which no strange those can be easily found every now and then in the neighborhood. on my last visit to a newly opened FATCAT Ice Cream Bar couple of weeks ago, i made my way down to unfold the truth about the Instagram-picture perfect hyped.

House specialty - Made from scratch Ice Creams

(recommend : try their Butter Beer & White Hay and Honey ice cream)
Standard flavor SGD $3.90/Scoop
Premium Flavour SGD $4.5/Scoop

Hot Choc SGD $4

The thick and creamy texture of the hot chocolate leave me wanting more and more, i just love its 'chocolaty' flavor & not overly sweet. everything is just in the right amount without overpowering the taste bud, definitely make a perfect comfort drink

Lime Mojito Sphere SGD $4.5/each

FATCAT Ice Cream Bar has successfully bringing dessert definition to a completely new level. Molecular gastronomy is indeed not something new in high-end modern cuisine, often serves in plated dessert/appetizer in hotels and restaurants. thanks to Fatcat for the genius twist with more affordable price, talking about the taste? a pure refreshing kick for pre-dessert, i personally love it. burst of flavors beneath a translucent soft shell

Gourmet Charcoal Waffle SGD $6

(Ice cream sold separately)

Charcaol waffle serve with a small cup of salted egg yolk custard, placed in a plate garnished in a thick caramel sauce and a tad of lavender flower. taste wise, pretty mediocre. slightly overrated (perhaps because i take my waffle seriously XD), but overall taste still good tho.
not hitting that carving button just yet.

Note : Make sure to be in the cafe as early as possible, if you're coming for the gourmet waffle as they are serving limited portion daily. also, menu change constantly. with that means, them sweet treat you saw in this post may not be available in store, so make sure to keep yourself updated for the latest treat offer.
